Master Video SPECS

Master video specs describe the video file that you will upload to the Vusr CMS. The aspect ratio of the master video file does not matter due to being reprojected onto a virtual sphere during playback.

video container: - mp4

Format - VR (top-bottom, stereo) - 360 (mono)

Bitrate Resolution Codec Bitrate FPS
8K UHD 7680x4320 h.264 AVC or h.265 HEVC 40+Mbps 30fps+
4K UHD 3840x2160 h.264 AVC or h.265 HEVC 40+Mbps 30fps+

Format

We expect the master video to be in an equirectangular projection. Example:

Equirectangular

Audio

All mixes are to be placed in a single stream and placed directly into the video container as the first stream. The only current exception is adding static stereo to deliverables that cannot reproduce static stereo natively (ambisonic, 4x1, 8x1).

Stereo AAC

Stereo audio 2 channel stream played back without any spatial audio qualities. It is recommended to mix sounds that are emitting from a spatial location in the video as a mono sound summed to stereo while all sounds that are not visibly located can be placed with stereo imagery.

Ambisonic

Mach1 Horizon Format

Mach1 Formats only apply if you have Mach1 audio enabled for your application! Optional Audio Formats (additional license fee)

Mach1 Spatial Format
